Definitely. Hooters is 100 yds from the hotel, so we'll hafta cruise elsewhere, but that's no problem. Plenty of places to go.

That reminds me.......how many of you are planning on racing?

Good point.....eating is my second favorite thing to do. So, if you hear me talking about lunch at say, 9 am, then don't be surprised. I stay fit, but I do enjoy a good meal.

Jordan.....track opens at 8pm Friday and runs until 3am usually. Don't forsee many of us shutting it down, but I'm sure I'll still be there at midnight. You guys should get here in with plenty of time to run.

Hood....this is going on the same weekend:

Is this the track thats an hour away? Might want to check into that.

If I have my Sy, im pretty sure I'll take it down the 1/8th, to get my caltracs set and do some minor tuning on track.

Im down with crusing.... the more trucks the better...any car shows or local hangouts we can raid and take over?

That track is closer to 3 hrs away. Worth the trip, but some of you guys might be tired of driving by that point. Either way, we can go if you guys would like. Otherwise, we'll be doing the annual SyTy/F-Body meet there in the Spring again in '05.

BTW, THIS is the track that's ~ 1 hr away. Looks like theres a Mustang Club meet here on the 6th (Sat.). I'm sure it'll be open to the public.....Hmmmm........

6 days out and the Sy is still down...staying late at work doesnt help motivation to get it done when your tired.

next few days are going to see some late nights :)

this F'in truck is going to GA dammit.

adam,

what do you have left to get your truck running? I am still waiting on my flange for the dp, then i have to weld up a new downpipe/exhaust, wastegate piping, charge battery, Turbo->intake piping needs to be welded up, I am picking up my alky kit today(driving out to see Julio (Razor)), it needs to be registered/insured (easy), and i guess after all this, I need to pray that itll start.

We're in the same boat as some of ya'll. Scott and I are putting the '92 Syclone back together in hopes that it'll make it to the track (tuned) for the meet. I rebuilt the engine a week agao, Waller rebuilt the tranny 2 weeks ago, the turbo is getting rebuilt now, the injectors are getting cleaned now, and we just got the engine/tranny back in Thrusday night. Makes for a VERY busy day tomorrow.

And for the historical nuts, the truck is going back 99.9% stock/original and everything has been photographed/cataloged. I'm sure I'll have a new thread on this in the coming months.

Adam/Jordan......work, work, work.

BTW, Adam....did you get all the parts okay?

Darriel is in, will meet us at Doug's Friday morning 9 AM. Does anyone have a fuel pressure tester gauge? If so bring it along witht he correct fittings for our fuel rail to help dial in a truck before the track. What is everyone else doing? Meeting us at Doug's or in Daytona? Eddie Kelly will be there too, from Power Tour. He's bringing his Sy from Marion , N.C.

Going through this thread and my list I count 35 people and 20 trucks so far confirmed. Come on people, I've had 20 trucks at my house in a day. I'm coming from 500+ miles so anyone closer than that has no excuse not to be there.

Gary....I'll have all my stuff here (burner, eraser, romulator, wideband, fuel pressure tester, timing light, datamaster, etc.....). I'll be more than happy to lend my stuff out or help any of you guys out. Any idea what time your caravan will be rolling in? I wanna make sure to get all my personal stuff outta the way by then.

John....Saturday is still in the air. We may be in Savannah again or in Jackson, if weather gets bad, everybody wants to go, and/or Savannah isn't running on Sat.

All....Scott spoke with Jeff yesterday and Friday is a DEFINITE. So, we will be able to race from 8pm-3am on Friday night. Just pray for good weather.

BTW, if the weather does hold up, we should be in good shape.....looking like a 2 day "cool" snap around Friday with potential for low 40's at night (which is a lot sooner now).
