Jimmy, Rob.....good to hear.
To answer your question, no. No special requirements for racing. Racing is $15 for car/driver and $7 for spectators (Fridays are usually ladies-free-night). No helmet required, no tech, no hassle. Just bring a valid DL, SS #, and fill out the info card and take it to the top of the tower and sign in. Those with numbers specify @ the gate (me and Scott only I imagine), and all others will be given numbers @ the gate (need to ask for one). I'll probably drive in first, park, and help get us all through as I know the gate-man pretty well. Should be painless.
One other note on racing in Savannah (and I'll speak more on stuff like this when we get here), go all the way to the end of the track and then hit the return lane. All other entrances (3 total IIRC) to the return lane have deep holes and asphalt breaks in them. The long one is the least used as it's used by guys going fast or with crappy brakes. Nonetheless, it'll save your back and possibly a wheel to go to the end. Again, I'll clue you all into some little tips to help out in Savannah when we meet.
Also, I'm sure other women will be here. Joey's bringing his woman, Scott's will be here also, and mine may be as well (she's in Veterinary school in Athens). I'm sure others will bring companions also.
