Can he send it as an attachment? then I can plug it
in and see how much vinyl is used. I can also do a
proof for him to make sure that it looks okay and to
make sure that it sticks to metel.

Let me know on he attachment.

Thanks

Nice. So what did the paintjob end up costing?

$1700 for everything but i removed all the stuff. cladding, windows, trim, lights, etc

- Finished the rear swaybar
- finished all new vacuum lines
- finished the plug wires
- new cap and rotor
- Full fuel tank of 93octane

Passed emissions with flying colors!

Its sitting at the window tiniting shop now getting 5% in the rear and 30% in the front. hehe

Very nice. I just got mine back from Maaco last week and after seeing yours I feel better about the green being so dark. When I pulled into their parking lot I honestly thought they had painted it black. And I decided to go with the factory grey like yours. Will paint the cladding this week. Thanks for getting me excited, although mine goes up for sale when I get mine back together.
Looking good, and I really like the C5's on it.

Got it back from the tint shop. Decided to get a new head unit. Alpine CD w/ remote and iPod hookup.

Re: Finally Bought A Typhoon! WOOOT!

Although havent said anything so far, I have been watching the thread and I must say: "DAMMN you did a nice job and DAAMN you came up on a nice truck for low dough. you make me proud" :p The truck looks amazing although I almost want to say I like stock wheels better, to each his own, they dont look bad its just a prefrence. They do make your jimmy look hell of aggressive compared to stock. One question: What was the time frame from start to finish on this beaut?

Thanks for the compliments. I do have the stock wheels but they need to be refinished still then put back on.

The total time frame? Bought it in mid January, it say for 2-3 months at the paint shop, and I stole a bunch of cool parts from my Tyclone build. Just finished it a week or two ago.

Re: Finally Bought A Typhoon! WOOOT!

Shuggs,

awesome thread and work on your truck. Can you give some comments on what you learned doing the body work and how you went about it, including the steps ,processes, materials you used and any recommendations or advice?

I went to the beginning and saw the "before" shots and this is a spectacular piece of work mate.

After your comments I'm voting Vault....

Nice one,

Mark
