its a Powermaster 140, with an Optima redtop. i was thinking perhaps i was chaffing the ECM harness. My computer sits in the glove box. But i have cushion padding where the harness comes through the glove box, so the wires are protected.
With the truck off, the system reads 12.6v. With the truck running and the system charging its about 14.7v. tested at battery terminals, and at alternator post.
i have 70A worth of auxiliary fuses wired to the alternator, plus the standard feeds. All the load might be jacking the voltage up.
