Nah... Ed talked his share of smack. Anders is rightly proud of what Roberts truck does and prolly wonders how long it will hold its record... Ed s setup seems to have the goods. Id be curious by how much it is gonna "beat" roberts time too.

Thats exacly what I´m curiose about, nor Robert, Hoover or Ed have somebody to talk to about running the Sy´s fast and progres is only seen in timeslip´s, of course we want to know how our competitor is doing..

Ed was in the "run" for the first 8, he didnt take the chance, Hoovers stumbled Oh so close then a engine failure stoped them, and Robert took the chance..

Ed has promised easy 8 sec runs and to be worlds fastest Sy (but acording to rumors the real fast ones runs 7 and lurkin´s in the woods ;D ) also promised this to bee Soon.
I say do that.. is that BS???

He has also gone a bold way with gearing and tire dimesions (I personal think this is not gona work but thats MY opinion) but never the less, its a combination thats untested,

This is the way ALL 3 of these gentlemen had to walk... testing new ideas over and over again, and IF they find some improvement the others have to figure it out..and in the long run the recepie for a "poundkake" is "at the feet" for the rest of U

We over here is making plans for the -07 season to dig in deeper in the 8, of course I whant to know how´s Ed doing, thats one way to "set the rally point" for us, when brainstorming on swedish coffe (that U´ve heard before )

Why are you so worried about someone who hasn't even ran an 8 yet? He's a whole .147 seconds behind the fastest time. Even though, I'm sure he appreciates the respect your showing him.

For the first, to know how your Competitor does out on track is to be prepared to what action U have to make to ceep ahead of the "game"..

IF Ed ( Matt I belive U, Q is when? ) does run that 8, I wants to see a video of the launch and the timeslip to evaluate the tracktion, the power output and chassie reaction,the strong part of the run and the week spots.. and do some "smart thinki´n" on how Robert will be planing for next season,

Just some minor tune? or some radical stuff..?

Thats the way to be ahead of your aponent´s..

there was a video floating around of a syclone that ran mid 8's right before the nat's. I still don't know who's truck it was and haven't even tried to find out. But i am sure it will surface soon enough.

actually as fast as the video went up it came down. I wish i new more but i don't.

What i can tell you it was a 1/4 mile run.

Maybee its like that LOOOW 9.2 sec polish Ty. it run low 9 in poland. the video was not telling what lenght the airstrip "home made" trac had..
But in Norway,Sweden and Belgium (chimay) the fastest time have been a low 10, with loots of noz..

But Id realy want to se a mid to low 8 sec run from a streetlegal AND driven bouth on trac and public road Syclone, and for now theres only ONE thats done it and prove it too.

I heard about this supposed mid 8 second syclone before and have never found the video that is "floating around". Guess i'm just not meant to be in the path of this video's float pattern

are we now adding more rules into the 8 second pass.

so now you have to drive the truck to the track and home to be the king.

Granted Roberts trucks is awesome and i commend him for all of his hard work.

But a low 8 second pass is an 8 second pass no mater how the truck is set up.
