I agree with Super-gt, its a bit unclear. Because I have friends with turbo'd Civic's and they are just in the low 13's. And pushing 10psi. Another with a built Integra thats in the high 12's and thats a fully built motor. Call me what you will, I'm just saying.

He's in Kuwait (Clicky Here) and it seems they get some pretty sweet cars that we don't. And it's not a US Chevy Lumina, It's a rebadged Holden Monaro (Think GTO)...

Still not sure about the Honda, but like I said, stranger things have happened.

Edit: Found it! 2003 Arabia Civic Type R has 200hp stock, whereas the US spec Civic Si only had 160hp.

in the caprice LS LTZ and SS ,and in the lumina SS
( LS and S models comes with V6 engines ) this is the first time we get the LS1 engines
and don't worry i will send you the clip it's (3GP).

Not a problem. :tup: I love to see what cars are offered overseas without all the US Government restrictions on them. I'd still love to have a new Holden Commodore SSV :drool:

EDIT: Well, I've seen the video. It's definitely a boosted 4cyl vs. 8cyl. and the Civic is screaming! I'd post it up, but I don't think my bandwidth can handle it. Whatever was done to the civic, it's making serious hp.

Guy beside me: SuperBeetle, rust and dings, automatic, unusual looking rear tires (6-7" wide) and the car sounded stock. You know, that VW wistling/chirpping sound.

Location: Red light.

He wants to "race" to the next light.

OK........light turns green, I side step the clutch for the 2F2F launch, he disappears......ahead of me.:shocked!:

To this day, I have know idea what was in it. He had WV plates on his VW/Porsche/Lotus/Lambo/Stealth sleeper.

I'd guess him at a low 7 in the 1/8. Never made a sound that I could hear.

Soooo, as far as the Type R spankin' LS this and LS that, stranger things have happened.

EDIT: Saad, don't let them get to you. They just haven't seen a Type R do that over here. You are not over here and niether is that Type R.

Sorry guys... got super busy last night. We're having a garage sale on Saturday to raise money to support our trip to Nats :rotf: and we're getting everything ready.
