I have a 1985 4x4 2.8L V6 Blazer. Would it be possible to make it into a Typhoon? I have been told replacing the front drive with a Bravada AWD takes care of that but what about the engine? Would it fit in well?
I have an 85 4x4 2.8 blazer that currently has a ty motor in it. In a few days, i'll be buying a glide/ 8.8 rear. So far, its been costing me some money for everything. I'd say the only way it makes sense to spend the time/money on setting up a blazer with a syty motor, is to make it rwd, and a strictly track truck.

Yes it's possible, I put a syty in my 90' 4.3 blazer! It fits fine!
here's what you would need,
COMPLETE syty motor, syty engine wirning harness, new high pressure fuel lines to tank, new fuel pump,if wanted the syty gauges you would also need the under dash harness and gauges!
And i dought the tranny in your 2.8 would hold up! I would not suggest it after my own experience with it unles your a mechanique with a shop full of tools or you have alot of ca$h to blow and i mean alot.
