Otherwise you will destroy that oil line.
This works very well for almost any rust ridden fastener especially exhaust bolts.
Put some heat into the fastener w/ a torch. You only need about 300 degrees for this to work NOT red hot. Once heated touch the fastener with a candle or bar of parafin wax until the wax flows into the threads. Let it sit for 10 seconds or so and then try to take it out again.
An old very wise man told me about this years ago and I called bullshit...
I was wrong. It has worked for me about 75% of the time.

Perhaps I will try it out next time I am in a bind,, per say. :rotf:

That fitting is at a bad angle, and I see a lot of people round them off by having the wrench at a 30 deg angle on the fitting. Your's appears to be a victim of this.

WD40 sucks; hence using a gallon of it. It is the #1 penetrating oil of those who don't know any better.byrdwe02 said:Thanks every body, I really appreciate the advice; and about a gallon of WD-40 and a new metric flare-nut wrench later I finally got the line off. The torch and wax method will definitely be filed away for later. Thanks again!
