Changing TV Cable?

Has anyone changed the TV cable with the tranny in? If it is possible, how difficult is it?
I have some worn teeth on my cable and want to change it.

Not that I can give much advice here, but buy this piece asap, went to buy a throttle cable and the dealer told me only 3 left in the usa. So it took some time before it showed up, I really dont know if it was bs or not but I didnt want to find out and it wasnt that expensive for my cable only 35$.
Oh ps to save a little order it from dal.

yes it is possible but it's a pita.

remember to drain some fluid from the tranny or you will get a face full when you remove the cable from the trans.

I just picked one up....parts guy had no problem getting it. You can replace it with the trany in.....just hard it get to the bolt that holds it in. Also it's a little tricky hooking the cable to the valve linkage. An interesting note....check the inside cable length. The inside cable on my new one was slighty longer (3/8 inch) than the orginal. I shortened it to measure the orginal as it was working fine (I had burned the outside cover on the headers).

There was no problem changing the cable, but the trick was to get the old cable out of the engine compartment, i just cut the old cable off and slid the new one down. That worked like a charm, there was no high pressure in the transmission and no oil spills what so ever.
