Re: Central FL / Orlando area meets

Well if you want a track meet, or dinner then track, then after track food it'll have to be Friday and not sat. The tracks only open Friday nights.

The Saturday would most likely just be a lunch type of thing. Personally, the track with food before and after would be a better setting for all of us to bs and have a good time.

Just my $.02

The Orlando track is open that Saturday to drag racing.

Its an 1/8th mile track, but that just means we slaughter everyone and look really good. Plus, 1/8th works well for doing tuning on the low end gears.

Ok I gotta say that the kart rentals do look fun! Doesn't really matter. Dig what day is best, saturday?

I can't get the web site to pull up here... the packets don't like our weather?

Saturday sounds good to me. I couldn't care less about drifting, but the afternoon/evening works better anyway. I'll be sooo sick of walking/theme parks by then, some sit down time will be good.

You guys are the locals, so it's up to y'all as to where to eat, etc.

Anybody wanting to get any tuning stuff will need to bring their own laptop/ostrich/wide band. I'm not planning to bring any of that stuff along; need all the carry-on room I can get. 1/8 mile will be good for getting some repeat runs in... as long as you hit 80+

I don't think this will be much of a tuning session, if you WANT to thats one thing but it shouldn't be expected

No biggie to me... if folks wanna mess with stuff, that's cool. Otherwise, just general shootin'-the-breeze.

Puerto Rico is booked. March 11-17th.

Hopefully I can still hit the meet. Rox has an event to be at for work over the weekend, not sure on times she has to be there.
