Central FL / Orlando area meets

We used to do Orlando mini meets quite often, would be nice to get back in the groove again.

We have a new track/road coarse in our area near Orlando Airport. Really nice setup with 1/8th mile, full road coarse, autoX, drifting, karting, etc.

Obviously I know Memorial and Shindig is coming up, but this would be a cool spot to get together and go out for some dinner and spend a night at the track during the between months of meets. They stay open rather late as well. We could always do the regular show n shines that happen as well. Local GN club does a rather big show once a month on saturdays, and we are typically always welcome to show up.

Guarantee if we planned it out with AutoX, the GAST crew would come on down since they have a place to stay with a few of us.

I was talking more about the orlando/central florida meet when Dig shows up. I've never met him so it'd be a nice time to do so. Not saying to be unfair to Adam and his up coming trip plans. But if Dig is already positive he's going to be in town that weekend of March 17-22nd. Then we should have it based on him being in town.

But if Dig is already positive he's going to be in town that weekend of March 17-22nd. Then we should have it based on him being in town.

Orlando is only about 45 minutes away......wouldn't be a bad thing to set something up:tup:


Might make for too much in one weekend, I'm predicting possible wrenching at MM.

You guys dont need me to meet up. If everyone wants to do a meet while Dig is here, by all means. If Im here, obviously Im going. If my trip puts me in PR at that time (its based off an incoming swell), hope you guys have fun....i'll be surfing my ass off for 5 days straight in nice warm 80* clear blue/green water.

But if you need my blessing :rotf:, sure....lets do a mini meet with Dig at the Orlando Track.

Well if you want a track meet, or dinner then track, then after track food it'll have to be Friday and not sat. The tracks only open Friday nights.

The Saturday would most likely just be a lunch type of thing. Personally, the track with food before and after would be a better setting for all of us to bs and have a good time.

Saturday is also open to finding a car show, or going out to do late night cruising. Ian and I both know the areas to go hit up to find trouble or just pull up into a parking lot with a bunch of other people. If the weather is nice, you can pretty much drive all around and find stuff.
