that's BS.. The government can't do anything right i'm sure they can find some "mess up" in the paper work.

Just thought about this what if you swapped out the chip with one that limits the RPM's or makes it so it won't run. maybe when it doesn't blow they'd give up.

Yeah, disable the truck, then it won't qualify. Tell the government that it's not running, so you can't destroy the engine.

It is sad that I got emotional when I read this. The thought of someone turning one of our trucks in as a clunker makes me want to high five someone in the face with a metal folding chair.

I am glad to hear that one less truck will be scrapped because of pork barrel politics and greedy over paid politicians.

not sure if true or not, but heard pelosi had a gnx and kept it from the clunkers program. Seems far fetched, but never saw it debunked.
Hopefully that Sy gets saved.

A GNX was traded in under cash for clunkers, and no it was not a Grand National. I saw some of the papers online a while back that lists the number of cars turned in under CARS and I believe the GNX was listed as ASC as the manufacturer. I had heard that Pelosi got to keep a GNX, but no research proved nor disproved the rumor.

At least the Japanese were smart when they did their version so that they only bought Japanese made vehicles.
