Re: Bowling Green, Kentucky

I am very pleased to see this information surface.....not because it is only 100 miles away but rather because there is so much fun, team building events to do there. The track is well kept and family fun is within walking distance. The 92 prototype Syclone will make it's 1st Nats debut and, if I can talk my wife into coming along, she can sport the Z06 so we can all see what it is capable of doing (I will pilot it down the runway though). If you need boots on the ground, PM me. Between the JSM crew and Jimmy, Joe and I, we can make it happen quick. Time for bipartisianship outside of Washington

Re: Bowling Green, Kentucky

how did they come up w/the name Bowling Green? :dunno:

The name was after the Bowling Green in New York City, where patriots had pulled down a statue of King George III and used the lead to make bullets during the American Revolution.

Count me in, too! Unless the company sends me out of the country, I'll be there.

Used to be a kick-butt go kart track there... still? Holley plant, vette plant, and vette museum also a must.

Beech Bend is a neat venue. Hopefully the dates work out such that it's at a cooler time of the year.

Only 1050 miles...

Re: Bowling Green, Kentucky

There is a go cart track basically next door to the hotel we are looking at.

Track date has to come first, then we can move on with all the other plans.

Not too far away from Bowling Green is Cave City, KY if you ever wanted to visit the Mammoth Caves or other smaller caves. Went there as a kid and it was really fun, plus on the side of the mountains there is a place that has dug bobsled type channels in the mountain on which you go down on little carts

Re: Bowling Green, Kentucky

see if you can get A date when it is cool out. March April. or Sept. Oct.. would be perfect & not 90 + Deg. I know it not easy to plan, trust me Putting togather homecoming was no easy task, we can only do the best we can.

Thanks for bringing the Nats. back & not letting it die out.
