Best rear main seal?

Im about to replace the rear main seal on my truck and was wondering what people are liking for their trucks. PTFE, Viton, rubber? I read somewhere that the PTFE seals can wear a groove into your crank. Anyone have any info or opinions on this?

Use the brown one. I don't know what material that is. I wouldn't worry about wearing a groove in the crank. I've pulled engines apart with 250k miles on them that had grooves, but weren't leaking. If yours has a groove, they make saver-sleeves that install over the grooved crank to provide a new groove-free wear surface. These sleeves require an install tool. If you are replacing the seal with the carrier still bolted to the block, be very careful not to catch the lip of the new seal on the crank as you push it in. They make install tools for this operation as well, but it can be done without one if you exercise caution.

I used this too, I think the brown one is a felpro
