Finally caught up on other projects and its time to put the Typhoon back on the lift!! I have nearly everything sitting around to finish this off. I have decided to make some updates on the turbo kit and retain the power steering, so some fab work will need to be re-fabed. Im shooting for a Carlisle to unveil. Its not going to be easy but im tired off looking at it sitting in my shop looking lifeless.
First step in the resurrection install motor and trans so mid plate could be cut and set in place. Next up mock up turbo kit and rework drivers side piping to accommodate the power steering pump. Also need to build a new steering shaft.

That oughta get ya down the road. Did you have someone come in and do the chassis cert? or? Where's the radiator gonna go? Hard to tell from the pics how much room there is. Regardless that's a beautiful setup. Nice work. Sure would like to see this thing run.

Cage was done by local Fabricator Steve Silver. He did an amazing job!! I was over the moon with what he did nice tight install cant even tell its in there from a glance. Yes he had an inspector come out and cert it at his shop. Cost 100 bucks ! well worth it for the time savings.
Radiator is going behind the intercooler. Stay posted there will be more pics as i progress. You will see the custom built 3 core in is home shortly.

The rear is a gm 10 bolt 8.5 out of an 96 impala SS. I cut it down to Typhoon stock length and smoothed it off . Then installed a Spool, set of 3.42s and 33 Spline shafts finished it with the big ford bearing ends no c clips. I wanted the rotating mass at a minimum since the 4l80 eats up enough HP.

Got the radiator installed today. Clearance is good with the front grill and intercooler. Just have to make new lower brackets but all good.

Inlet for rad is on the top drivers side. Ill post up a pick so you can see. Turbo is a 91mm billet wheel ball bearing. Intake custom built for my application. Fuel lines are 3/4 stainless steel with tube nuts to AN fittings. Headers were built by RPM to my specs.

Thanks For the positive comments. Im tiring my best to stay motivated! I just received a bunch of parts today. Ill try and update with some pics soon.
Ive been struggling with getting a vacuum pump,Electric water pump, belt tensioner,PS pump and Alternator to all line up and work. Still shooting for a running tuck for Carlisle.

I use aluminum spaces, my crank trigger moves the crank pulley ¼ inch out, I uses ¼ spaces (ebay) for all the other brackets so they lined up.
There is also gm water pump spacers, you will probably have to machine down to the width you need.

I also had to space the brackets out to make up for the thickness off the crank trigger. My problem is I'm using an electric water pump. It makes felt routing hard. Nothing to wrap the belt around in the center without the water pump pulley.
