Re: ATR Out of Bussiness

No, we did. I had to wait a while for my ATR parts... does this mean I have one of the last ATR stainless exhaust systems? :(

Does this mean super cheap headers for sale while they last :D
Call them and ask (864)972-3800

I seriously doubt they have any on the shelves.
That's why it would take months to get them once you ordered and paid.

Last time we went around about this it was found out that they were just restructuring, but if McCoy has heard something recenlty, maybe they are done for good.
Hopefully someone inquires about buying the SyTy header jig so those can still be made.

Re: ATR Out of Bussiness

we'll just have to wait and see if someone buys whats left of them and trys to rebuild. they do have a pretty good name. there have been some people that had bad experiences but all in all they had what WE needed. hopefully someone bring then back or a new company cause we cant afford to have companies that sell SYTY parts going out!

Re: ATR Out of Bussiness

Can't you buy their stuff thru Jeg's now? Maybe they sold their exhaust business to them.

If not, that makes 0 companies that I can think of that sell stainless exhaust for SyTys.

Re: ATR Out of Bussiness

ATR is just shipping from stock, and their number is disconnected. I am still keeping in touch with them and am working out a deal to get the exhaust fixtures to make them available.

I got one of the last complete ATR syty headers here as well.

If ATR does make it out of their restructuring, it will be primarily import products. I am trying to work out a deal to get the exhaust and header systems produced for us locally here in MI.

I was trying to work out a deal with Borla, but the quantities needed require a sizable investment and its doubtful we'd have enough interest.

I'd take a borla system if they were around.... but since that won't happen.. i may have to order up a sy cat back asap

Re: ATR Out of Bussiness

If anyone needs help in contacting ATR I will try to help if I can.

I have a contact with Magnaflow, and your right about the minimum of 50. That was their absolute minimum, and I'd prefer to use what has been proven (ATR) as opposed to re-engineering the system.

I also missed out those headers.Well hopefully someone here on the board could build some headers around the same price as ATR headers.

Re: ATR Out of Bussiness

I will need a cat back system when my Ty goes back together sometime in the next decade, so you can count me in on that 50 for Magnaflow, or anybody else thats wants to make them.

Re: ATR Out of Bussiness

ATR didn't make the alum driveshafts...they just sold them. They were made by dynotech.
