alum fabricated valve covers ( now with pics )

Re: alum fabricated valve covers

Re: alum fabricated valve covers

they are on the way........ to ensure that the quality is nothing but perfect and there would be no issues with fitmet and rocker clearences it has taken a lil longer than expected....i will need someone to host the pics as soon as they arrive. they were shipped mon via fedex. i hope to have them today or tomorrow at the latest.... now that the preliminary fab work and fitmet issues have been resolved it will take 10-12 days to have them fabbed and to your door. i will create another thread as to what everybody wants/needs once pics have been posted and everyone can see the product they will be recieving...i have had a set on my iroc for about a month now and have no issues with them..

From what I can see looks good. You will want to verify alternator clearance, maybe AC.

Also how is the bottom to seal? Stock has a o-ring, just curious.

Also have to make sure it will clear power booster, but we angled the ends to clear the alternator, and for reaching behind engine.

Mine also are notched on the bottom to fit stock rubber gasket.

I know with the Edelbrock Vortec Covers I have, it is a beotch getting them off & on because they hit the p/b booster .
I'm going to switch to a hydroboost setup so that won't be an issue, but for others that still have the stock p/b booster better make sure there's enough clearance.

And looking at the pic, I don't think its going to clear the stock alternator let alone the 200A Powermaster I run.

Re: alum fabricated valve covers ( now with pics )

i had rpm's covers on my truck before i started the frame off resto, these are not as tall as his and taller than the stock covers to clear the rockers.and his fit with no problems.so i don't see why these wont work.

i am sending a set to marty ( syborgtwinturbo ) so he can test the fitmet for all of you guys. i know they will work. but everybody on this board knows that he is a stand up guy and if he vouches for their quality and fitmet it will make everyone feel better about buying them. he will post on here once he has inspected and tested them.

once again marty thanks for all of the assistance with this project of mine. and once we get through this lil project i hope i will be able to offer you guys fabbed oil pans also.i'm not trying to make a living on valve covers and oil pans, just trying to help with products for these vehicles that are becoming more and more scarce and offer quality at a price that everybody can afford. not all of us are loaded with $$$$$$$$.

Okay - all i can say is man if i was running center bolt heads these would be going on the Syborg Project.

We were able to test fit them on the P-Side of a syty motor this weekend and it will be close with the A/C lines but is should fit no problem.

I was going to test fit them on the D-Side tonight but i have to relabel and repallatize 700 ctns on 20 pallets.

If i was a betting man - the should fit fine

Will the drivers side fit with a larger CS-144 190/200amp alternator?

How much larger - meaning sticking back does this alternator go vs the stock one ??

I think it's the same as the powermaster. Here are some pics.
