Hey guys The other day I was behind a GN and he was mostly stock I was not trying to pass him but we were hauling ass and everytime he boosted up I would notice his lishts would dim. Well we pulled over and we showed eachother our engines. I notice he had a oil pressure switch from like a old 350 chevy connected to a vacuum hose and then to a relay going to the back of the alternator. I asked him what that was since I saw his lights di, every time he took off or (boosted) he said it turns off the alternator for less drag on the engine. Now I under stand less drag on the engine But I also understand less power to the fuel pump??? Has anyone else seen this set up. Does it work? Thanks
