Everything is a direct bolt on. There's a stud that hangs out on the drivers side front on the power steering bracket that needs to be removed or shaven down.
Coolant line feed/returns need to be made for the turbo... Oil feed/return.
It is a bit of work... but well worth the end results. :)

Sad story but ended up having to go down to Delphi IN with the Jimmy for my grandfather's funeral. He was 96yrs old. Great man.

Anyway... we filled up before heading down and clocked the gas mileage.

We got a avarage of 21mpg between some hwy and some city driving going down and coming back home with the A/C on all the way.

Thought I'd report since it's really the first time I've taken time to drive it and check the real MPG.

Heather and I enjoy the feeling of boost way to much to keep our foot out of the gas. It still managed to do awful decent. Amazing.

That stock Typhoon tubo is so responcive it just beggs to be beatin' on. :)

Re: 98 Turbo Jimmy Update.. Pic's today.

This show's I've got NO mercy for my cars :)

I screwed around with it yesterday... laptop showed nothing. When I manually shift it 1st/2nd/3d/od it's fine.. so I think it's as simple as changing out the 3d gear solonoid.

I do take credit for blowing the epoxy apart that bonded the mild steel hat to the stock throttlebody.
That only took me 2days to break!
But now I installed the ported LS1 thorttlebody and posted how to do it on FullthrottleV6.com.
So.. the more I break the more it benifits others. Or somthing like that :)
