You could just plug your stock chip in and bypass the adapter plugged into your ECM. Your stock chip is plugged into the side of that adapter. It will slide off the adapter. You can see the pins from the adapter they go straight out from the edge of the adapter and slide into part of the stock chip.
If you look at the pic I put the blue circle on. Just above the circle are the pins that your stock chip is plugged into. And the brown plastic is the edge of your chip.
If you will take a pic of the stock chip before you remove it from the adapter. If it has the blue plastic on it please take it off. I would like to see if I can tell If it flipped over. I think it would be throwing all kinds of codes if it were. But I just want to be sure.
You truck may not run well with the stock chip and bigger injectors. But you may be able to see if it will rev past 3k RPM.
