Well, Folks, the only thing I can say is "Jesus Christ Almighty!!!" It's going to be HELLA EXCITING to see the numerous huge buildups going on and how they play out!!! I can't WAIT to see who is the fastest and what type of records are broken!! We have Dean Higson going balls to the walls in true Syclone style, SYTYNUT with his awesome 10 second Sy, ghostrider with his "violent as shit" Syclone, Ryan's Odd-fire Sy that's had some big claims made, and maybe even ghettosled's Area-51 classification hush-hush-mobile might finally report some 1320' numbers! :wink:

I tell you this is going to be like a showdown not seen in many years. Anyone else feel the same way?

Randy, That is a sweeeeeet build. Your truck looks bad a$$. The Nationals are going to be the best this year. Lots of fast trucks.

unless it's so fast(7 sec.) or meticulous i can see it.

50K won't last long in that range, not that I'm the expert, but I know of a local that runs a stang into the low 8's (www.crazyspeed.com) and he's flirting with 100K. From what I've seen Syty's are pretty expensive to mod, but I think a low 11 second syclone can be built fairly cheap (10K) and hold it's own on the street, but beyond that your playing with mega bucks (20K+).

4L60E doesn't make any difference. I'm running that tranny too. The builder told me that if I was to sell off the original tranny instead of keeping it on the shelf as a spare that the 4L60E build would actually be cheaper than the stocker by the time the dust settled. As it is they are about the same...less the controller for the 4L60E of course. :razz:

And I don't care what anyone says to the contrary that's way to much money for this sort of build. $50K U.S. just to nose out an LS1 with a big shot of nitrous? puhlease.

BTW Randy, never did hear from you what crank is in that thing. :wink:

Oh and one last thing. My 4L60E, guaranteed for two years against friction burnout, cost me under $2000 U.S. That's from having the builder obtain a core to having it dropped off at Nolan's garage so we can install it. That's not to be ignorant...just to point out that there is more than one way to get from point A to point B.

Not telling everything meaning for the money you made, or as far as if you have stock crank or not?

I'd like to know once and for all if you have a steel crank. It would benefit us all if we hear you going fast and not breaking, to know what the stocker can handle.

McCoy nitrated a stock crank for me, there ya go...

he also told me about some sort of cryogenics, but i skipped on that...too pricey and not enough info on it yet...
