1270HP AWD Syclone TT????

Hello

I´ve heard some rumour about a twin turbo Syclone AWD, with 1270 HP. The owner of the car is named John. Does someone have info. or pictures about this car? Written below, is the info. I have got through a website. The increadible thing is that he runs aTH 700 /4L60Etransmission with this power. If he´s on this board, or if someone knows about him, please fill out the info.

The guy that owns the TT Syclone's name is John. He isn't on any of the boards because some people are idiots and he doesn't have time for them.
He only got one run in at the track before getting kicked off for not having a roll cage.
He ran a 10.19 at 147.
He didn't launch.
I think get got a 1.6 or 1.8 on the 60'
I think he ran it with only 10lbs and running a pair of T66.
He upgraded to a pair of custom T68's (I believe that is the ones he went to).
He built the motor himself.
He's a machinist.
It has a bowtie block, Odd Fire Moldex crank, Ported 18 degree head with TD rockers, 4 stage Dry Sump, Custom Titanium intake and plenum (He made this), titanium fuel rails,
He uses a Motec FMU ,
My buddy Will has the run on video at last years Truckfest.
John
is going to be in one of the magazines.

1270 AWHP? or 1270 to the crank? Love 1000+ #'s out of any v6's... but better get that launch down there is enough power to make a solid 8 second pass if that power is to the wheels

I know the guy, hes cool as shiznit. I recall going out to his shop while we was building the motor. All I could say was wow. He gave me some pointers on my Ty before I blew the piss out of it. Hes on the board too. Bully Syclone is his name.

Whatup Guys............Dont believe half of what they say in truck builder............NOT a flat tappet cam.....NOT a 12 bolt..........NOT a PAIR of 96lb injectors..........DOES NOT need more cam........and when I ran 10.18 It did not make boost in 1st so there was no point in stalling it up so I just stuck it in 2nd and and hammered it at the lite......let it shift into 2nd on its own,broke traction when I went into 3rd and went towards the wall so I got out of it and right back in it and ran 10.18 at 146...........if anybody wants to know about just ask............FAST KICKS ASS

I have spoken to him. Actually bought an intake off of him. He's a standup guy. He was not happy how the mag article turned out as some of what was printed was incorrect. I understand, as I have had my Ty in some mags years ago when I was in car audio. They interview you for an hour then screw up their notes when they write things. Remember these writers don't know our trucks like most of the popular cars that they normally write about so don't be surprised when a syty article comes out and there is things printed that seem strange. In general, a good rule to follow is...don't critize an owner when reading about any syty article until an owner can approve and defend it.

As far as John's truck...he has a turbo 400 trans in it. It is an odd fire that he drives an the street. Hat off to him, as not many have perfected running an odd fire on the street.

Hmm, I talked to Robert today and for some reason we were under impression it was still a 700 and we were scratching our heads on how it could hold up.

So is it a 400? If so you must be spinning more than most. GRIN

I think I saw this guy in Loveland by the highway last year year on a Sunday morning. You have chrome rims right? Or polished? I posted in the sightings section but never heard anytthing.

700 on that 10.18 pass... 400 now.
