YEEHAWW!!!!! WooHoo!!! Just had to share! The Lowe's Motor Speedway just called me...they want to use my stock Typhoon for the Special Display section in the garage at Charlotte AutoFair in April for all 4 days!! Seems they are doing a special on GM turbocharged vehicles, and didn't have a 90's GM factory turbocharged vehicle to use. Time to MAJOR CLEAN! Fuel pump is on the way so she should be running again. Just couldn't keep it to myself! Think I'll go outside and cut some flips! On second thought I better go outside and wash the bird crap off the truck!

I will have to fix a show board for sure. I gave the speedway official some sites to get historical info from. I am going to have my window sticker laminated. I have alot of original literature to display also. I will definitely have some pics for the group, this is the biggest show in the southeast!

I've been to that show a couple of times. Great show. Ton's of cars. They always had some display areas like the one you metioned, usually in a tent, pit row, and the garages. Its was at that show that I first saw a Turbo TA as a kid and thought..who put a GN Motor in a TA. Good way to get our world some exposure. Make us proud!

I'm about 152,000 on it now! Original paint, original turbo, unrebuilt motor! Pretty good track record for a Typhoon daily driver. I rotate back and forth between it and the GN. Fuel pump(we HOPE that's all it is) croaked on me last week, so waiting for Walbro to come in) I spent most of Saturday on interior alone! Patrick's going to help me with the motor cleaning, and we're going to take the wheels off and clean inside and out! Ty is going to look like new money in the Busch garage at AutoFair. I plagerized(sorry) some SyTY info for the display board the speedway is fixing for it. We should get lots of attention! And maybe pick up some new members here afterwards!
