Who knows but now this subject is getting old,here is the deal,if your a vendor that sells anything and i dont just mean syty,s cars, trucks, planes, and dildos i dont care what one you are.And i dont want to hear these trucks arent our life blah blah if you take someones money for a service then you must do what you say,if you are doing a favor well thats different,And for the customer if you dont feel like you got what you payed for first try to get it worked out,then i guess if you cant call your lawyer,the problem is you are going to get mixed opinions as some guys might like the vendor and some may not, and are going to take sides no matter whos right or wrong.If all else fails call a lawyer.And no waller never screwed me,i personally have nothing against him,he did a trans for me 3 years ago and i know even if i had a problem with it today i think he would fix it,but thats just me.

i had 5 chips from waller, and 1 was wrong. he buned me a new one.
also bought multiple parts from waller, even paid him upfront at a certain time.
waller also build 2 of my trannies. he flew back to Switserland because somebody else did not deliver the parts in time. that was about 2k out of his own pocket and time to do that.. in my book.
if you are crying over a $50 chip? you wouldn't do that yourselve.
on here you can SEARCH that waller isn't responding 24/7 and gets out of town alot. cause he is a pilot.

Waller, if time is your enemy, just tell the potential customer that it could take 1 month or 3 months or what ever it takes..... you know what you have on your plate time wise. Maybe this problem will be reduced?? Just an idea?!?!?!
Yes, I have dealt with Waller on a turbo, only thing I didn't like was he sent me the turbo fittings that were gunkd up with shit, I am not going to make a big deal out of it as the turbo, I bought from him is what I was concerned with. So far it is working great! Yes it did take longer then promised but hey, I kinda knew that from reading other peoples comments. But in the end, I would deal with him as he has not done me wrong yet.... but when the times comes that I do need more stuff and I am shopping around. If I do read that more and more stuff is coming to light about not receiving stuff (delays are not as important to me on the Sy since it is a hobby only) I will not deal with that vendor.

Well, let me jump on the band-wagon before the thread gets the clamper. I have never dealt with Waller but Jimmy has on a number of occasions and I know this....Waller expends alot of his personal time to tend to Jimmy's transmission needs. He flies parts on many occasions on his own aircraft for free for members here. We are all quite busy and time slips by all too often and mistakes sometimes happen. I am just impressed that in his scope of things, he humbled himself to dedicate time to tend to a measly chip.....I mean this guy could make $1,000's elsewhere and yet took time to try to assist with a $70 deal. Not pointing fingers at anyone but before bridge's are burned on here with the few vendors we have, it might be prudent to exert a little of our own energy to work the problem out. I can promise you one thing.....people that bash vendors on here will hardly ever get any repeat service from them. There are individual sharks on this forum that are periodically exposed but I don't perceive Waller as one of them. He is NOT gonna put his reputation on line for a $70 deal and trust me, if you and I took our petty business to someone else, it is NOT gonna impact Waller's quality of life one i'ota. Three quick points.
First - "www.syty.NET" This is not syty.com, this is not syty.biz, this is not syty.co. It is a forum which i believe is intended for the sharing of knowledge, information, ideas etc. to exchange between syty enthusist. Mod's are simply for maintaining issues concerning post such as racism, questionable material, improper section. Vendors and Purchases are an external issue and are not within the scope of their intended use.
Two - SEARCH. Anyone who is considering purchasing from a vendor (sponsor, individual, compony, does not matter) in these forums can easily search the forums and form their own opinions on vendors based on threads such as this. There is a thousand of them. Most bad, very few positive but hey what can you expect.
Three - The consumer and the vendor has the responsibility to protect themselves and their best intrest. If you are dumb enough to give some one on ebay your credit card number, then guess what? Survivial of the fittest, someone just fed their kids for a year. As a customer, I would suggest that you have a paper trail and documentation of what you expect from the vendor. (Statement of Work, sorry I'm a gov. contractor we love this stuff) then when the vendor completes the work, the vendor should provide a detailed invoice to protect himself. If you are really noid, take pictures before you ship or install etc.
I can understand how one may feel if they were on the bad end of a deal, but we cannot ask the moderators to play Judge Judy based on statements. If you feel you have been screwed, then you have several venues you can persue for restitution.
Stupid Anaology - This is like suing the company that makes the materials for advertisting boards for Mc Donalds and you sueing them because Mc Donalds got you fat.
