Update: No longer looking, Found One.



Here is what I would like if there is one out there for sale.
  • Clean Typhoon (Red a serious +)
  • No rust (surface rust on frame ok)
  • 4L80e conversion
  • upgraded rods and pistons would be nice but can be a stock 4.3

I Love My Ty's
I have a black 92 Ty with 76k miles(I think that is what the OD sits on at this time). Lots of great parts. New engine. No rust.The problem with it is it is smoking out of the exhaust. I am pretty sure the oil scraper ring popped out of the piston groove when I installed no.2 piston. I haven't repaired it yet.

New Holley Dominator ECM waiting to be installed. I have the hard to get parts for a 4L80 trans install. The shaft and bellhousing. It would probably take some time to get the engine sorted out. If the engine ends up needing the bore re-sleeved. And it sounds like you may be ready to pick up a Ty very soon.

Thanks but I already have a Bad A$$ built Syclone, "The Executioner" Looks completely stock on the outside except the 2" cowl hood. Nelson Racing 427 TT 1650hp pump gas with A/C. Runs 8's on street tires. I am looking for a Typhoon with a 4.3 and 4l80e swap. Basically a bullet proof daily driver around 600hp and fun to drive. I am sure you know what I am talking about.

As far as I knew there was only 1 syclone in the 8's,the European guy..this would be pretty big news and nice to see vid/build pics

I will be taking and uploading videos here soon. I actually have two syclone's running in the 8's. One could be close to 7's with ET Streets. 1650hp AWD with full interior and A/C. Yeah, doesn't get much better than that. :)
