Hey thanks for the responses

I'm just looking for something relatively clean looking. Not new just clean. Looked up a couple on line and seen dirty looking ones.

Stab it and steer it

Obviously a misalignment of some sort. When you get the new one and before installing anything, IE the PS pump, make sure it fits snug against the block and head with no gaps. You might even run all the bolts and/or nuts up tight with no accessories just to see if you can find where the misalignment is. Somethin' haywire somewhere.

Are you attaching it at the bottom? Base of the block? If not, or those were left loose that might cause this.

Re: wtb alternator accessory bracket

Forgot to add some one just worked on my truck.

I'm very irritated. I have built a couple cars "soup to nuts" how ever you interpret. Nut-bolt..

I know its not a big deal to some. My first car I completed when I was 18-19? Never had a failure and I pushed that car to limits I never thought I could. I trusted my work. I knew what was tight. With the work that was just done to my typhoon by some one else has already left bad taste in my mouth. A hose was dragging, found some other shit under the hood I wasn't happy about. And it appears the nut was missing on the BOTTOM of the bracket. Like right around where they performed work...

And Don your right. Something is messed up some where. Remember shedding light on the noise I was complain about a week ago? We discussed idler/tensioner. I'm going to be looking it all over in the AM. Strange thing is it got cold Here and the noise went away. I am able to spin the tensioner and idler no problem. The water pump has a small squeak. I really didn't like how I saw the " bottom" one not attached. I put it all together at least 10,000 miles ago. Hard to think it vibrated off. Its a stud into block with a nut to hold it. Wasn't there... I haven't even put 1000 miles on my truck since I got it back and its not good.
