I had same problem, it turned out i had to much fuel pressure. I have #50 injectors. I could start my truck if I squirted some meth into the intake and it start, but i since lowered my fuel pressure to 36lbs.

That's exactly what I had going on! I just bought a set of siemens 63#ers which are commonly refered to as 60's or 65's... Highly recomended injectors by a lot of people. I paid 49 bucks each from racetronix and added 12 more to have a flow matched set. Well worth the upgrade!

BTW I had a thread going about a year ago complaining about my hard starting once warm issue. Captain Morgan chimed in that he had the very same issue with the 50s he had in his truck. He took them out, went back to stock injectors and the problem went away. I can't explain I can only tell you what I've seen, heard, and have personally experienced.

Most likely your module scott. I changed that sucker 4 times and never used the grease but finally learned my lesson. Spread it all over the metal plate side and you should be fine. It helps dissapate heat and it'll burn up and malfunction when hot, just like what yours did.

So whats the consensus here? Injectors, ignition components, ecm? I am having the EXACT same problem, and have been for a couple of months. Ive just been too fed up with the truck to work on it. I also have 50# injectors. I really dont wanna replace the injectors...

EDIT: How would the fuel pressure create this type of problem? Just curious. Thanks!

Scott try running a bottle of redline fuel injector cleaner...just to rule the injectors out.

Next time it doesnt want to start on you...check to see if the RPM needles moves while you crank. If it doesnt, its the control module.

Update: I brought the fuel pressure down to 38psi and so far no hot start problems woohoo!
