Wilwood Brakes

[T-Bone]

Interested in buying a complete set-up (F and R) for my Sy but the service reps don't have an application (?). I have seen these on other Sy's and Ty's. Can someone advise me what cross reference automobile brake system is similiar to our Sy's and if any extensive mods are necessary to install a wilwood brake kit. Thanks in advance for any help you can render.

The front's are probably Fbody, but the bracket to mount the caliper was made by Dustan. I think there might be another one made by JS in steel instead of the Aluminum ones Al made.

The rears are F Body as well, but didn't have a parking brake.

I do love having the Wilwoods as my Syclone is probably the quickest 60-0 truck out there.... but for the price, you should definately consider the CBR F Body kit. You can buy me the front and I'll give you mine

If you have some money to spend talk to Waller. I know in his pic gallery he has some nice brakes that he said he can get. I like Wilwood but I think Brembos are even better but more expensive.

I think I'll table my purchase for now and talk with some guys at the Nats. I agree with you, the Brembo's are awesome but for the $$, the Wilwoods aren't a bad runner-up.
