You talking engine limiter strap or front end travel?
I just run a bolt through the old snubber hole with nut welded to the top to limit travel to approx 3/4" . Depends on track traction.

The limeter straps connect to each top and bottom shock eye. Keeps the shock from extending. It seems it would be a easier and cleaner install over the other style limeters. Just wondering if anyone has pics installed on one of our trucks. They sell them through Summit for about $46

they are bolts not straps,the homebuilt ones anyways they dont not go on the shocks,

Did some searching for you. First link is when I installed them, second one is after a little paint under the hood. And the price of doing this knocks your $4x amount out of the water.

Im going to order my limiting straps from OFF ROAD ENGINERING. (Their on the net) They have the straps in any length I could need for $26 Available in red, black, blue! I measured my shock from eye to eye and came up with 13 in. at rest. So I guess I will try the 13 in. straps? Should I go a little longer? The 13s would keep the truck at my ride hiegth on launch? Or do I want a little lift?:roll:

different track conditions will call for different adjustments on the limiter. I did the bolt limiters on my sy today. was really easy and adjustable without taking the wheel off or using a jack. if you use the straps with them at or very close to ride height your truck will ride like shit. it wont have any droop.

The straps are nonadjustable. Meaning if you put weight on the front to lower it and attach the straps the truck will ride like shit on the street. Have you ever riden a solid frame go kart on a bumpy surface? Same thing. You will feel every single bump.
Ask for advise but don't consider it. We can just say we told you so when you update this saying it was a bad idea or the straps broke or loosened up to the point that they are worthless.

I like to try different things.
I will update in 2 more weeks when I go back to the track. I will try 15 in straps and see how they go. If they dont drop my 60fts I will install the limiters like your suggesting. This is not my everyday driver, just car shows and the track only. Im looking to get it in the 7.9s when I go back to the track.
