looking for an aftermarket intercooler for a 93 typhoon that fits in the stock location (the one behind the bumper) who makes them ? got a part #?

Not worth the money IMO. If you are just looking to cool the intake temps a little get a oil cooler and a Jabsco, or Johnson pump and that is about the best your going to get with the stock setup. The ATR and the Conley IC's you will see very little if any change in temps. If you want better I'd switch to air to air. For the price you will spend on their unit you can have a very nice air to air and really get some good temps.

Griffin makes a lower heat exhanger. Same configuration, larger and aluminum. Run a search in yahoo or google for White typhoon. I think the guys name is Jim Le. Show good pics and installation.

cas makes the lower. I had it with 2 7" spals. Nice looking piece but didn't notice any difference really.

CAS Lower IC

CAS Lower IC

cas makes the lower.

Yes, Tony DeQuick did make a batch 4 a bunch of us on a GP, and I got one, but is he still making them ?

Some of the guys said it wasn't bigger than the stock one, but I measured it and it is bigger. Here's the Stats :

Length Width Thick Fins/In.
Stock 16.5 6.75 1.5 11

CAS 18.75 7.50 2.25 6

So that means the CAS has 26 % more area, and the added thickness. If U would calc a "volume" to account for the thickness, U would come up w a 80-90 % improvement. Fins/In would be a negative, but wouldn't plug as easily.

Hey, that's a much bigger IC. My only questions would be if U can fit it into the stock location, and if not, what Mods U would have to do to fit it in there.

It is big. I had to cut the frame under the radiator but thats ok with me :D
I installed the Kenne Bell intercooler in the front before i sell it and i liked that.
I also cutted the support of the hood lock
