only the firewall gets painted, figure 4-500 if you bring it to them with nothing on it

I was refering to a "factory" style, add about 100 to do the fender wells, But IMHO i wouldnt because of the amount of rockets that hit them unless you had the wheel side rhino lined

I did this years ago on my V8 Vega. It's not difficult and the results were pretty good for a garage paint job. Took about two weekends of work and about a pint of gloss black. I shot a single coat system. No clear. But you have to remove everything from the engine bay, clean, fill in any unwanted holes. De rust prep prime and paint. It's lots of work like any paint job so expect to pay for several hours of body work and painting. Won't be cheep.

I did my own fenderwells.... Base of POR-15, followed by some high-build primer, sanded smooth.
Finished with a semi-gloss black. I'd *really* like to find a source for the real underhood black that has sort of a brownish-green tint to it.
I did this inside and out. Mine weren't terribly grungy, if yours are you might want to media blast first.
I think the bedliner spray on the underside idea is a good one. Might add a bit of weight, but it will stay nice a lot longer.
I also made up new fender flaps out of some reinforced rubber belting. Much tougher than the original stuff.

In order to paint the inside of the fenders- It would be best to take them off the truck so you can properly scuff them. You'll have to take everything off them anyways to paint them and it's only a few more bolts. The inner fenders are already removed to do about anything to these trucks so taking them out to paint them is no bog deal. Again- Make sure you get them CLEAN before you even start to scuff them with a maroon scuff pad. If you try to scuff them before you have them clean- you’ll end up scuffing all the contaminants into the base paint. For the inner fenders- I would use an industrial single stage paint so it will hold up better.

I don't think you will find it now due to the different VOC regulations. Back in the 90's- the green was probably lead or somthing.....

Even a custom mix to approximate it would be great... the semi-gloss/satin black is ok, but you can visually see the difference in the stuff that's been painted vs. what's still stock.
I'm actually having trouble finding a part that's that factory color (and not waxed/polished excessively).
The core support is about all I can come up with, and that's a bit bulky to drag in to have matched.
