Hey guys I got my battery relocated to the inner fender well and no easy access to the battery. Where is a good place to hook the battery float?

I want to maintain the battery. Something on the Ty is draining the battery. I'm sure its the old style alarm system. Just haven't had any time to do some troubleshooting.

I would recommend a battery tender or a smart charger of some sort. I have a harbor freight charger also, but don't use it. It would over charge your battery if you left it on to long. I have a 4bank battery tender and leave it on my cars all the time and it works great. I would think you could extend the leads and hook it up to the distribution block on the fire wall and ground it to the body. Then put the plug where ever you want.

I eventually want to get a tender but have to order one. No one in town has anything good. The Sears brand tenders have some bad reviews. Which one are you using? Also thought of the the optima battery charger:

I have the 4 bank battery tender and a Jr. The 4 bank has a little more power. I think as long as it is a smart charger you would be fine. A Jr is only about $30 I figure it is cheaper than a $100 battery.
