Sorry I don't know the offset / backspace

First offset is typically measured in mm, just so where on the same page. 1.6" = 40.6 mm, which will probably stick out on the front a little more than you'd like to see, but were only talking about 1/2" more than the standard 56mm offset of most typical Corvette wheels.

A 9.5" wide wheel can't have 5.25" backspacing and 1.6" offset. Offset is the measurement from the centerline of the wheel (4.75" in the case of a 9.5" wheel) to the mounting surface, while backspacing is the distance from the back of the wheel to the mounting surface. 1.6" offset would equal 6.35" backspacing.

The stock front wheels have a 41mm offset. Switching from 8" wide wheels with 41mm offset to 9.5" wide wheels with the same 41mm offset would result in the extra 1.5" being spread equally on the inside and outside of the centerline. The inside would be 3/4" further in, and the outside would be 3/4" further out when compared to the stock wheels. For comparison, the standard ZR1 wheels (9.5", 56mm offset in the front) would have 6.95" inboard from the hub and 2.55" outboard. With the 41mm offset on your wheels, you'd have about 6.36" inboard and 3.14" outboard. Like Black Knight said, these wheels would be about .6" out from ZR1 measurements.

Stock offsets are 41mm and 13mm, meaning the rear hubs sit 28mm further in than the front hubs. To get any four of the same wheel to match the stock spacing, you need 28mm (1.1") spacers in the rear.

You might be including the lip of the wheel in you measurement (when measuring wheels a lot of manufactures don't include the lip of the wheel in the measurement) so you may or may not close with these numbers.

Eighter way that wheel will probably stick out 1/2 - 3/4" more than stock.

You might be including the lip of the wheel in you measurement (when measuring wheels a lot of manufactures don't include the lip of the wheel in the measurement) so you may or may not close with these numbers.

Backspacing should always include the bead/lip (usually around 1/2" wide). Otherwise, you would not be able to take the measurement to your suspension to check for any interference.

Example: 17x9.5 with 7" backspace and 44mm offset (1.73" offset)

4.75" (half of 9.5") + 1.73" (offset) + .5" (lip) = 6.98" or 7" backspace.

Yes, it "should" but from personal experience on the hundreds or possibly thousands of wheels I've sold and/or installed over the years most times the number they give you is understated by a small amount.
