I live in algonquin and go to school at NIU (dekalb)
I have heard stories about the history and i am trying my hardest to piece it together. I havent emailed or called BG yet since i have read on here about him being busy and not to bug him kinda shy as well.
I bought the truck from mike (xblazinlv) who bought it from a guy that lived in MN but moved to las vegas who was the guy who bought it from BG.
Any with more info i would love to know it since i have wanted a sy or ty since i was about 13 and first found out about them and i am tickled to finally own one

I know there is a guy in Dekalb with a blk/blk ty. He toasted his trans. and i guess he is still trying to get it fixed, its been almost a year now. Other than Dave i don't know of any more around. Keep an eye out for the Great Lakes BBQ. There are usally 20-25 guys that show up to that.

there is two ty's out in dekalb. One guy i have heard knows a lot about it and seems that way since it looks clean and new and prolly the same guy you are talking about. then i know someone that has a 93 blk/blk ty with a bigger turbo but thats the only mod however it needs some help its been a daily driver for years

Justin (THEMADTYPHOON) is also in DeKalb. He has a black black that has been under the knife for the last year. Keep an eye on this section.
I still manage to see BG every once and awhile and he'll usually make it to a gathering or two. We'll probably have a Hooters/Cruise Night/BBQ at my place some time after the Nats.

Wonder the condition of that truck since after Kris Olson (LV guy who bought from BG) sold it.
I know it has PEP suspenison front and rear. Had some nice bolt ons, and a new trans put in.
Before Kris was BG of course, then Potter.
I am sure BG would give you the history of mods, as he did 90% of what truck had on it from what I remember.

I want my truck back! I spent too much labor on that thing and i miss it
