finally got the tailgate open on #1068 (don't have a key for that lock) so I had to do the popper trick, thankfully that worked. Was able to get in and clean up all the crap back there, remove the battery relation kit and sort through all the parts in the truck, as well as vacuum everything out.

Also finished up this project on #1579

and eventually this, after the calipers and lines are finished.....

Purchased all new door panel clips and led's for every light bulb on this truck.

After reading the hell folks go through replacing failed motor mounts, I decided to be proactive and install some sort of torque strap.

That is one VERY heavy duty piece!

Built intercooler scoop. Added a bosh pump(wow, talking about flow!), and twin intercooler fans.:tup:

Fixed my rattling door panel. Replaced every cheap plastic clip with new ones

Fixed boost control issues with a Forge wategate
Replaced my Moates setup with a Turbotweak chip
Relocated the knock sensor to the front of the intake manifold

Without any tuning yet the first test log revealed that I have less than 4 degrees of knock!

A few weeks ago Krupa helped me to install the code 59 stuff....finally. I had an EGR delete I wanted on to clean up the look a bit. One of the bolts was tight all the way out, and I was afraid it would break. The code 59, disabled it anyways, so before it was all the way off I decided to keep it for now. Tightened...almost before it broke the bolt off in the upper. So, off with the upper to get to the broken bolt. Krupa took it with him, and his dad got the broken bolt out, then Sean cleaned it up for me too. I had some free time today so, I got it all back together minus the upper IC to TB hose.

Pulled the rear driveshaft to get it rebuilt / balanced and the shop took a 4 day weekend. Oops! Oh well, I'll just drop it off Monday. The Ty's probably happy to spend a couple extra days in it's natural state of being on jack stands.

Replaced both PCV valves.

What an improvement.
Cold starts better, idles smoother and highway speeds are incredibly smooth; 65, for example, hardly requires any pedal pressure at all.
The old valves had to be the originals-original part numbers and AC stampings, they looked tired and still rattled but it was a sticky, muffled sound-no positive "click-click" whatsoever.
Only 52,000 miles but 23 years!

Truck just gets better and better.
Grabbed a little throttle a couple times while out-zero problems.

Replace all the deteriorating wire loom on the Syclone. Front to the back of the truck. Looks much better. Should be good for a few years.

turbo tweak parameter setting.
writing it all down to correlate with tunnerpro 0 to 85 mph runs recorded
making sure battery is up and all 7 settings to chip are exactly where i left them.

Today I reminisced over years of receipts.

While troubleshooting loss of power today deciding once again it's the battery and determined I'm on battery #4 after looking at old receipts. Battery takes the lead as my most replaced part :tup:

Didn't include oil filters or plugs & wires in the count ...

Ah the joys … all after getting a complete tranny rebuild and replacement A/C compressor / dryer for my Christmas present to myself this year :cheers:
