I found out that mechanically it's not sound, milage is wrong, 2nd owner my ass. At this point it's about 8 or 9. The truck was for sale here on the forums. I made posts on the topic and the seller would never respond probably because it was my old truck. I dont know what else may be wrong with it at this point but the seller is not being honest already so you know there is more thats being hidden.

Isn't the photo on the left of a different Typhoon? I want to say that's 92 Ty 0042 or another Ty with a sub 0100 VIN.

ya i just have to say this wasnt my truck and my uncle was on my user name posting, that ad, and the one on craigslist, no idea what happened to the truck after he had it sold it to a guy locally in queens then i donno

I wonder what they did to it. I sold it with 120k on the body for 14500 only about four or five years ago

I know you used to own the truck, but have you looked at it with this recent sale?? What was not mechanically sound? I've been emailing back and forth with him, and he says that the motor, tranny, turbo and wastegate :roll: were all rebuilt. I asked by who and when, and he responded that he's owned the truck about a year, and the guy he got it from says he had the motor rebuilt. He says that while he's had it, the trans and turbo were done, that the truck has original paint, and has never seen more than 14psi while he's owned it.

I was wondering the same thing and the pic's he sent me do not look bad at all for the price he is asking. As was stated on here though he is most definetly not the second owner of the vehicle???

I actually talked with him on the phone awhile back and he told me that the trans shifted hard and was NOT done by him but the original owner????????
