I can't remember the company that was actually doing v8 approved conversion for GM. I have there brochure packed up in a box in my warehouse somewhere.

Did i mention they even offered a warranty

this is the famous "baby thunder" project mentioned in the v8 s10 swap manual. quote "This was built by GM wizard, Scott Leon, at the General Motors Arizona proving grounds."

Check with Merk, he knows about the truck and the guy. Jim Perkins from GM has or had it.
I was looking for it a few years ago, I wanted to buy it. It has the LT1 vette motor and wheels with I think the syclone or astro van xfer case. The article is on sportmachines

Speaking of GM proving grounds, there was a healthy v8 sound haulin ass around the track while i was playing paintball

I think a Colorado Xtreme with a LS2 and AWD is what GM needs. If they came out with that I would sell everything just to get one.

cant do it,cafe once again kills un mini truckers

hell the reason the camaro is not getting the zr1 620hp motor is cause of cafe. the govt has killed what we live for, power on a factory level, and room to play with it. while being based on a factory setup

WTH?! Why does it say "ur a fag fag" under the title?
I talk with guys that own ls2 vettes with six speeds and they can get 26 mpg on the highway. Thats better than the stupid 5cyl Colorado that gets like 23 mpg.

I agree. My dad gets 26mpg out of his 1999c5 with a magnacharger on it!
