I'm not try to flame your post, but that looks like a plain ol' 4x4 propshaft. I have one just like it.
I pretty sure the Gilbert does not have the double cardan rear joint.

Right. That's because the stock SyTy shaft has a CV joint on the front, but still uses the double cardan rear joint.

well it was sold to me as a gilbert shaft, but i can't be sure. so any one who can identify it, please let me know

actually i just did some searching, and it looks to me like a bravada shaft. so make an offer.. i guess i got ripped off

Gilbert is a driveline shop so it is quite possible that it was built by the same guys who built the shafts we refer to as a gilbert propshaft.

I looks to have flanges at both ends unlike the upgraded gilbert photo below yours that shows a u joint saddle for the front diff, not a plate flange.

Probably still an upgrade over stock but not as beefy as the "gilbert propshaft" commonly referred to.

Yep. I have had a Gilbert since 2001 and I have never seen one like yours. Good luck anyhow...
