Got a new gun and went to shoot it with a buddy. The road got worse as we went on, but there was no place to turn around. Then the guy in front up me was having trouble going up the hill, so i lost my speed, and it was all over. Backwards down the hill. Spun it around as we were going downhill, but still ended up in the ditch. Pics kind of explain. Thankfully the mound of soft dirt/snow kept me from hitting the rock face, or worse, going further downhill, off the goddamn edge of the mountain. All said, just a few minor scratches, and peeled the wheel a tiny bit. No cladding damage. Welcome to 2013

dude you need a 4wd or an awd for the shit.(winter beater here in the north)
don't try to make the ty into a great winter car- will not happen

I know, should not have been out there. The beginning of the road was not bad at all, once it became apparent it was bad, it was to late, turning around was not much of an option. Until it happen involuntary. Even more reason to get the Scout II running. Lesson learned, thankfully with basically no damage. Anyways, the gun is AKDAL Mk1919.

Huh? From a guy who has daily driven both a sy and a Ty a combined 200,000 miles, in the worst weather ever, blizzards included; to find out neither of my trucks were actually not great winter cars now, is a mind bender
