Typhoon Mechanic (Philly, PA)?????

Hello,

I am looking for a very good mechanic to work on my 93 typhoon. It has a vibration over 50 MPH and I already had the tires all rebalenced yet the vibration remains. I was looking into a few things and saw that the propshaft may be out of balence which has been known to cause such a vibration at higher MPH. I have had the truck under a year and have yet had a need to take it to anyone for this type of work. Any help/referrals are appreciated.

Thanks,

Eric

talk to morgan (NJTY180) he might be willing to work on it for you

or talk to bob (BIGGTIME) he is local to you, I think.. and he definately knows his stuff..

neither of them are shops per say, but i do believe they have both helped out other owners in the past for a price.. :D

Welcome to the club, I think 90% of our trucks have that vibration, either from the propshaft or tire balancing.

But, there are fixes for it!

Call Jim Dunn at Buick Turbo Performance 610-721-4695. He does ALL of my work. He is one of the best turbo mechanics anywhere. He is just off the Blue Rt.

I believe there's a mechanic in Warminster who also specializes in Turbo V6...often works with Dennis Kirban (Grand Nationals). I think his name is Dave and his number can be found on kirbanperformance *dot* com...go to "cars for sale".

87 GN (sold 11/01) :-(

p.s. I am in negotiation with a typhoon in New York. If anyone (who knows typhoons well) and has a datamaster and would like to drive up there on this sunday to check out the truck, please PM me. I am close to plymouth mtg. interchange.
