No matter if its real or not its a clone now and no way of changing that. Again it is what it is and its all about what someone wants. This is what i wanted I didn't car real or not a typhoon is a bad ass truck, And whoever "cloned" it did a damn good job because nobody could tell.

I am the owner of the truck. Truthfully I dont know what happened in the long run i bought it off the owner of a performance shop in Macomb area and he owned the truck for 14 years and it was stored probably ten of them. I know what I see real Typhoons bring even with the market down. I'm not crazy I really dont want to sell it I'll take offers but it is a valued item to me. and 2k? you must be outta your mind you couldn't by a 91 Blazer 4x4 this nice for 2K lets be real.I dont know the history before the 15 years i know so I really couldn't tell you its a take it or leave it thing its all original and all there. I could get close to 5K in parts if you really take the time to see how hard it is to get parts. The truck is nice very nice that's why I dont want to part with it but while owning a Mach 1 and this and living in Michigan I have no winter vehicle. its all about what somebody wants go spend 10gs and get a real one that really wont be in "MINT" condition or spend 7gs and get a story line a very nice Ty and a truck I have never been questioned if its real or not real there is no way of telling. Just thought id throw down some input because I own it.

Not sure who the F*ck you think you are, but your POS Blazer with some decent parts will never be a Typhoon. No way of telling if it's real. Right...


Why would anyone dump that kind of money into a fake Ty when you can buy real ones for that?

That is a very nice truck, I actually almost bought that one. That isn't the only example of REAL Ty's selling for the same or less that your fake one. Go post on an s10 forum, they might actually be impressed with your Tyclone. They'll tell you it's too expensive too though, so I guess your hosed.

Must of the members here contribute to posting any sy/ty/sogt they find on Craigslist. Your truck was no exception. It wasn't posted so we could bash on it, everyone is entitled to their on opinion.

There's no problem if you want to join and state your truck's case, just don't come in here talking sh**. You should come giving the respect to others you expect them to give you. :2cents:

Bottom line; the sy/ty community doesn't agree with your price.

No one specifically said you stole it. When there's a mismatched VIN to parts, it automatically flags the truck as having a questionable history. With no back story to explain the mismatch, it only adds fuel to the fire.

It's an easy way to cover up a stolen truck. No one is saying yours is.

This community takes a lot of pride in keeping track of any truck that is "found." Clearly, somewhere along the line, your truck either lost it's VIN tag, or another truck lost all of it's parts. It's easy to assume theft without a full explanation story. :tup:

I'm sure you guys do! I dont have a problem with it but it does hurt the sale of a truck especially when people are posting about it. My buddy typed in typhoon on Google and this was one main thing that came up he called me and let me know. I really wish i could explain more. The truck means a lot to me and an offer of 2K is also insulting like I said you cant buy a 91 Blazer this nice for 2K. Its not just a Blazer with speed parts? Everything is from a Typhoon. Clean truck that's all i must say and it would take somebody to come see it to know what I'm talking about.

OK, normally I stay back from Dumb A** posts, but you have no clue. I agree, your truck IS NICE, but it is a blazer, nad has a value to YOU, but in the long run it is a BLAZER. Yes, you have nice parts on it, but again, it is a BLAZER. Find a 91 blazer in that condition, no problem, lets look south on autotrader.
Oh, and for the history befoer 15 years ago....
It was a BLAZER, that is enough history

Take the 5500 and run. Yes, the parts are worth more than 2k. Most cars are worth more in pieces than whole. Doesn't mean you can get the part our value for the whole truck.

And how much is a all modified Typhoon worth? The more expensive parts you put on it, the less it will be worth for a collector I dig my clone, I can cut, drill chop whatever I want without annybody nagging about what I did to a rare truck:rotf: But of course, it will never be of any value, except for me though:lol:

A modified typhoon is worth what the seller thinks it is worth, not saying he will get that much for it. But, it is a typhoon, not a Blazer there is a difference in price

I agree with the majority of the board in that a "clone" is not worth what a real truck is, this is a given. I think what makes this truck questionable is the lasck of where/when/why it was cloned and where the parts came from. People pay stupid money for clones all the time, Hemi Cuda Clones, 67-69 Camaro SS clones, etc... The truck with a good history and explanation in great shape is probably worth around 5-6 thousand on the top end. I am a dealer and for 2k you cant but a decent car of any kind at auction, let alone decent TY "clone" just my opinion
