TY runs 9s in CO

[V8 Sonoma GT]

Not mine- first run 10.2, second run 9.9. Blue Typhoon at Pueblo Motorsports park. Anyone know who this is? I'll try to track down a video.

I was at Bandimere the other night and was talking to a guy that said he knew of a guy claiming his TY would run in the 9's but had never been down the track. I wonder if this is the one?

i didnt see it personally, this group of guys i drag race with saw it. I called my buddy at the track this morning, he confirmed it. I put out all the word i could to get a vid.

dont fret mike, it could be a BBC 2wd as far as I know.

I highly doubt it still has a v6 in it if it's running 9's . Takes way to much $$$ to do that up here . prolly a lsx conversion . but who know's . keep us updated on info on this beast !

I am pretty sure any of the low 9 sec bowtie v6 Syclone would 9's in A Ty at elevation. It just takes $$$$.

Who knows really . Maybe somebody with big pockets built a race truck without help and knowledge from syty. My thoughts is ,,it's a hell of accomplishment . Only a couple have pulled it off up here at 5800' . John freys ''Bulley syclone'' and RY's turb'd small block sy have hit 9's up here . soo we'll see .
