Yea that is leaving easy. Put some sticky tires on that thing and some front end limiters and you could have it down around +/- 1.60's . Taking almost 2 tenths off the 60' will drop the 1/4 mile times even more
could be looking at 9's with a little more tweaking.
I made some front end limiters from a couple 5/8th nuts and some 5/8 all-thread (couldnt find 5/8 bolts long enough in our stash). We put them where the factory stops are in the upper control arms. For street driving i have it where it will let the front end come up till there is about a 4 inch gap between the tire and cladding, but for the track i plan on cranking them down till the truck stays fairly level on the launch. Ill have to play with it to see what works best, but i got a 1.59 without them with the v6 and 80e so we will see if they make any improvement.

yeah the launch was very easy,literally rolling on ity off idle,on the 2nd vid i left at 10 inches of vacuum,and you can hear even then it spun and i have to peddle it really quick:rotf:the tune is very conservative 16 degrees total timing,pump gas,also on the 2nd run when it spun and i got out of it, it was at the mph to shift into 2nd and not down shift into 1st again so there was some time and mph there as well

also mysefl and a frien wet sanded and buffed the entire truck,looks like a million bucks:tup:bno worries about the paint i already had some mixed up
