well i think i found the problem, took the upper intake off and the cooler, and there it was a vacuum tee, that did'nt look crack until i pulled off under the egr and, boom there it was a freaking crack, i think that was the problem, but since i pulled the upper intake new gasket and polish work, and paint !!!!!! :tup:

I guess I will go check that T fitting but I already sent off my PCM to have it checked out.

Since these trucks are 15+ years old, The vaccuum lines should now be automatically replaced if they are the stock stuff.

well since i am replaceing parts, decide to clean up the upper intake, since it was all discolored and the syclone emblem was all grey as was 4.3 turbo, on top of the intake, was all faded, decided to paint it, what do you guys think, pretty nice job hugh

hey tooky since i own a machine shop and had some engine paint on the shelf i used that but i ran out of the universal grey so i went to oreilly and got some more universal grey, had some red engine paint,which i used for the syclone lettering, its all aersol paint, also did some polishing on the upper intake, cheap job like 5 bucks for the can!! :tup:
