Took my Sy to the track for the first time. Best run was a 13.4 @ 99 MPH with a 1.8 short time.

The best part about racing one of these things in Canada is that almost no one knew what it was, or what to expect. I'll bet a few people are a little more educated now... :tup:

Hey, they trailered it in. LOL It ran mid 14's. Not bad for a Minivan... :rotf:

Did you ask the guy in the chrysler if he had a hemi?? And I thought our trucks were bricks...

I went to that track back in 97? A friend had a Yellow 95 Vette with NOS. There was a guy from Northern NY with a Syclone. Sort of rough shape. Had a ton of parts on it. Was taking the headlight out when I walked up. Funny thing was he sent in a picture of his truck at that track to Turbo Magazine? And the run they showed was against my friends Vette. I'll see if I can find the issue.
Remember the day we were at that track, in the background they were combining wheat or something.

Yes, that 300 was a Hemi. SRT8 to be specific. Don't know what those things are supposed to run but he was doing low 13's @ 108. I'd eat him out of the hole, and 1/8 mile, but he'd catch me towards the end. One fast four-door!!!

Nice run! I do to love how most people are scratching there heads when they see the times pop up at the end of the race!! Our trucks are silent and violent!!:tup:

do you want to know what pisses me off is that I totally forgot about this. Sorry kev, let me know next time you are running at the track at Sparta and I will make sure to be there with my sy. Good times btw

Yes, I took him. He was pretty quick as far as minivans go. High 14's I think.

I have a few mods - PTE 51 Turbo, RPM 3" exhaust & a 2800 stall. Plus, there was a hell of a head wind that day. Our bricks aren't terribly aerodynamic. Then again, neither was the minivan. :lol:

Might need a little more love, thats a stock trucks time and MPH. 60" should/could be in the mid 1.7's and a high 1.6 isnt unheard of as well.

How many #'s of boost were you running.

15 PSI. Yes, my shorts could have been better. I was still trying to time the tree so the only launch I did with decent boost was a 1.8 60ft. Damn tricky to load it up at the line, watch the boost and the tree at the same time...
