The track in my area is finally opening up on Saturday which means I finally get a chance to try the Typhoon. It has the ultimate chip, and I will be running 17 psi on the ultimate's S/S setting.

Assuming I can launch it correctly (I have read the launch guide that is on the forum), what do you guys feel I can go?

8.8-8.2 1/8 @ 85-79mph
13.8-12.8 1/4@ 98-101mph

Also the guy had a beard or not.

The crystal ball seems a little vague to me 8) . If all you have is the ultimate chip, I'd say 13.5-13.8 depending on altitude. Feel free to prove me wrong with some time slips though :wink:

The track is Dragway 42.

I dont know, if I can get my hands on some high octance fuel then I might look at the 18 psi setting just for the track. But I want to get some higher octance fuel than 93-94.

I would at least like to run something in the mid 13's. My last fun car I had was a dissapointment in the speed department....

I lived in Seville and Wooster most of my younger life.....my family still lives there. I started racing at "42" when I was 17. It was a great time. Had a 67 GTX, then a 69 z28, then a 70 z28. They all went down that track. Did a lot of street racing in Wooster. Won some ...lost some. I still get to Wooster about once every two months. I am planning to bring the ty over there sometime...be fun to go down that track again.

Yeah man, it woudl be great to get another sytyer in the area every once and a while. I am starting to think that I am the only syty in the Wooster area. I will be over here for about 5 more weeks. Not sure if you were thinking that soon though. Let me know if you are going to make it down here and we can go to "42."

I usually go to Dragway 42, nice track and people who run/ work there.
If you can go I would recommend Tuesday or Friday nites. That is their test-n-tune nites, usually can get several runs in.
