I really like the blue typhoon design...if you decide to make any versions of this one, please let me know. Obviously I don't have a Sy/Ty yet so I wouldn't be able to put a truck number on my watch, but I am really impressed with the way the watches look regardless.

Anyways, put me down. I'll comit. Its a great and original idea. My choice right now like I said is the Blue Ty with the silver background...

Ok guys, I've got a new watch and can done. I still can't post pics up here so I've sent the pics to Jon and Timbo and hopefully one of them may be able to kindly post it up for me. Basically its the watch with the truck picture blk00z28's posted up, that truck is perfect to use as that image is the highest quality available that I could find. And as he points out the reflection in the windows of trees,people,etc. is usually a problem. Now as you will see on the watch the background is red because the windows in that truck are red and if you put them on a white background it looks totally stupid. Thats of course why we had to go with the white syclone name and the white numbers below the wheels as of course below the wheels is black too. The can is black striped with the red name. Unfortunately the wheel one is next to impossible to do as unless I have a dead on center full quality picture of the wheel it looks terrible as it will be off center on the watch and looks dumb.
I think you guys are getting too spoiled by all of Jon's high quality mockups...lol.

WTBSYTY if you can supply me with a good quality pic of a typhoon like the silver blue one you like or any others that you might have then I can make up a watch for you similar to the silver/blue one.The bigger and better quality the picture the better the watch will turn out.

Thanks very much Jon, much appreciated on the posting and the kind words. Hope the others are liking it too. Thats about the best we could come up with. Not feeling the red. What color reflection would be good for a white or black background? I'm sure between all of us, we can find on that will work

Well, ok let me hear what some others are thinking?..as I'm spending a ton of time on this and it's never going to be perfect for everyone. The photograph is the key, and fortunately or unfortunately this is the best photograph out there. The image is of super high quality and works well for what we need. No one else has come up with any high quality images,so thats what I worked with. And as Jon had mentioned before usually there are reflections in the windshield,glass,backgrounds,trees,people etc. to deal with. Let's see what others are thinking and then I'll decide if it's worth it.

what about doing a Ty the same way using this pic (sytyarchives background w/out a plate)?

Personally, I would be happy with a radar blue background and a silver Ty logo. No pics or truck number.

If you can do it with the actual Radar Blue color (PPG paint code WA-9018), I'll buy one. Let me know.

No, it's impossible to do the actual paint color, all I can do is something close but definately not exact. There are printing limitations.

Well, if you've got something that will look blue from a 90º angle (looking straight at it) and purple from any other angle, that will do. Otherwise, I'll wait and see what your new Typhoon design looks like.

I was wondering why the original had jersey plates ... and yes, this was my background for a while :lol: ... that is, until I found a good pic of a new C6 Z06 airborne...

Man, if I could do that I wouldn't be wasting my time making watches, I'd be printing off money. Sorry but guess your going to have to wait for the typhoon truck pic one possibly.
