Re: Syclone Glove Box Badge

I do own a Syclone. I thought you knew I bought one. The owner pulled the engine out in 2008 to rebuild but never had the time to do the work.

So I picked it up and and have been fixing it up. It it has a pretty nice body. It had some surface rust on the frame. So I pulled the bed unbolted the body, lifted it up and used a wire brush on my angle grinder to clean all the rust off. Right now I am finishing up on replacing the control arm bushing, ball joints and tie rod ends.

I bought a 22k mile Typhoon engine in Cali. and I picked it up from Dave in Indy while he was passing through on one of his cross country trips.

It is looking really good so far I painted the frame and control arms. And I had almost all the front end rebuild parts in my stash.

I was wondering when this was going to be announced. One of the best-kept secrets on .net in awhile.

Take a few pics and do a minimum-effort build thread. You don't have to document every bolt being put back in, just a few before / after shots of key progress points. I enjoyed doing the build thread on DesertSy, and it kept me motivated to keep making progress.

I'll try to take some pics. This is my 3rd truck. The 2nd I have gone completely through and so far haven't taken one picture. But I will try to post one or two.

But I do need the Badge for the glove box. As many trucks that are getting parted I was hoping someone could fix me up.
