Sy transfer case

So I finally got the front cv's done, ended up taking it to be done as working on the floor is too difficult for me and my 72 yr old back.

Anyway, long story short, the front axle(s) being defunct for however long they were, affected myTC as well. It still works, but I get a terrible clunk under boost and a clunk when the wheel is turned and backing up.

I would like a Sy tc or a Ty would work also. If I get the Ty case, I would also want all the parts that are needed to make the fit to the Sy. I think the yoke and shaft (to be shortened) are all that's needed. Please correct me if I'm wrong.....Thanks

We have a few. We can take PP or Money order. Good work on getting it out on your back. it is hard even with a lift.

I didnt get it done. I had to put back together what I tore apart and take it to a shop.

Whats the price on the TC? Sy or Ty?

Re: Sy transfer case

I'm going to Aamco tomorrow to have the truck looked at. I am sick and tired of the mechanic I go to and them saying it's one thing, repairing it, and then tell me it's something else.

Aamco will guarantee to find what the problem is AND they don't charge to put it on the rack and diagnose it. At the very least I will know what the problem is now. And knowing is half the battle! :rotf:

Will keep everyone updated....

Two are used, 70-80k on them. Two with less than 5000 miles on them. None of them need rebuilding. They work properly.

Still looking. Agreed to get one from Sportmachines, but I can't them to invoice me.
If someone else has a nice Sy transfercase for under $350, I'll take it.
