Sy# 829

Lo Boost
Ok, so round two for building a Syclone. Its Syclone 829, bought in Castro Valley, CA. It has 87,XXX miles on it, and appears to be completely stock. I put a 3 inch drop block I had lying around (probably from the last sy) while I wait for the Belltech springs to come in the mail.

the paint isn't perfect but it is WAY better then my last one.

Game plan:

  • Fix lifter tick (Install 412 cam while I'm there)
  • Fix bad hesitation when heavy throttle (may be related to lifter or the ignition, but it feels like a ignition miss)
  • Full tuneup (also replace IC pump, metal lines, and flush the cooling systems)
  • Lower the back correctly (BellTech, setback plates, blocks, measure for shock length)
  • Install new fuel pump
  • install 3 inch exhaust with Borla XR1 muffler
  • hopefully if will be running good at that point and I'll get to start looking into what chip and tuning hardware, which the truck came with this....

not sure if i should use it or sell it....

Sounds like you are going to be having fun Sean. Is the last picture a piggyback style ecu? Cannot read it.
